I am talking about the traps processing at SNMPTRAP daemon. Can a TRAP
daemon be configured to work only on a specific traps?

Mahesh

What do you mean by "suppressing traps"?
Are you talking about traps generated by the agent, or something
different?

If the snmpd.conf file contains "trapsink" directives (or similar), then
it will send traps to the specified destinations. If it doesn't contain
any such lines, then the agent won't generate any traps.

If that's not what you meant, then you probably need to explain a bit
more.
