Has anyone had success in invoking a command in Windows XP using the traphandle directive on 'snmptrapd.conf'? The command works separately on Windows Command Shell but is not being invoked by the traphandle. I'm trying to invoke certain action when i receive a coldstart trap from Cisco. I'm seeing the coldstart trap but no action is being invoked. I used the following commands (Net-SNMP 5.4): to start the snmptrapd: >>snmptrapd -c C:/usr/etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf -Le content of snmptrapd.conf: authCommunity log public trapcommunity public traphandle default cmd /c D:/BootScripts/traphandle.bat Regards, Govi Ravindran ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
