Release strategies for binary products should probably be discussed between you
and the vendors of your target systems, but in general it is *not* safe to
assume that a binary for distro A version B will work fine on distro C version D.

Some of your options are to
- ship a dedicated RPM package for *each* of the target distros, or
- compile your subagent statically
