Thanks for the reply.  While I had compiled the 5.4 version, the text in
the example file still is as shown below...I assumed it applied to the
version I was running. =)

I have a sample snmpd.conf file in place and snmpd is running and
responding to some simple "snmpget -v 2c -c public hostname sysName.0"
commands correctly.  However, upon startup, I get the following output:

Line 47: Warning: Unknown token: disk.

Is disk monitoring not supported in version 5.4 with a line in the
configuration file like:

disk C: 50%

Release 5.1.1 is a very old release now, and is not even the latest
version on the 5.1.x line (which is now closed down).
   We have been very fortunate in the intervening three years to have
had a number of skilled Windows developers join the Net-SNMP team,
and the agent support on this platform has improved dramatically as
a result.

   Please consider installing a recent version (e.g. v5.4), and try
working
with that.  There are still some MIBs without Windows support, but you
might be pleasantly surprised.
