Smux/Dell OpenManage - crash

Hello,

I have been trying to get Dell OpenManage to work on openSuse 10.2. I
have added:

# Allow Systems Management Data Engine SNMP to connect to snmpd using SMUX
smuxpeer .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1

to snmpd.conf. However when I try to run snmpd I get the following:

registered debug token smux, 1
registered debug token smux_init, 1
registered debug token smux_conf, 1
smux_conf: parsing registration for: .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1
*smux_conf: Segmentation fault*

If I add a password to the smuxpeer directive snmpd starts but the oid
is refused access:

refused smux peer: oid SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.674.10892.1, descr
Systems Management SNMP MIB Plug-in Manager

AFAIK there is no way to force the Dell agents to use a password.

Any help much appreciated.

John
