David,
I have tried what you said before building with default configuration.
Is there an example somewhere on how to build an agent for an embedded platform?
Or, Is there a manual way to build the agent for an embedded system? Is it working on 5.4 ?
Thanks,
-Marc.

It's perhaps worth trying this with a fresh source tree.
I.e. unpack the tarball into a new directory, and try again.
It may be that the cross-compilation is picking up some of
the settings from the original configure, and getting confused.
