Hi all,
I beleive that SNMP v2c has quite robust way of reporting errors. It
has 13 error codes. But does net-snmp has support for handling these error
codes. Whenever an "snmpget" command is issued, the command returns "0" or
"1" depending upon success or failure of the command. But how do i capture
SNMP specific error codes/messages ? Say i want to differentiate between an
"authentication error" and a "no such user" error. Is it possible with
net-snmp or is it yet to be implemented ?
Please do clarify,
Sarathy
