SNMPV3 related query

Hi,

 

Consider this scenario

 

I have a SNMPV3 based communication established with the Master Agent.

 

I want to also access a bunch of parameters from a sub-agent.  Is it
necessary that sub-agent should also be compiled and linked with ssl
support?

Or is it sufficient to have a SNMPV3 link with the master agent since
the sub agent is NOT directly accessible from the manager and all calls
to the sub-agent are routed through the master agent.?
