Re: snmpd not responding over IPv6

Hello all,

I'm having problems testing using snmpd over IPv6.

I start the process using the command:

-snmpd -c snmp.conf -V udp6:<ipaddress>:161

It starts ok but when I issue the snmpget command:

- snmpget -v 1 -c public udp6:<ipaddress>:161 <OID>

The snmpget times out and gives me the message:

Timeout: No response from <IPAddress>

I see that snmpd got the request because it prints something like:

    GET Message
    -- SNMPv1-MIB::sysContact.0

Any clues? Am I doing something wrong?
