Re: Configuring snmp to not use syslog as it's log file

The version of net-snmp is version 5.2.2 and one of
the  messages that is placed in the syslog file is;
NET-SNMP Version 5.2.2.

It also seems as if the snmpd process is recreating
the  syslog file each time that it starts up.
