Ignore the words like amazon, gotham etc. they are very specific to our
project.

[root@switch root]# lspci
00:00.0 Class 0600: 1057:0006 (rev 14)
00:1b.0 Class 0200: 100b:0020
00:1c.0 Class 0280: 1222:0001


The above is the information, I have.
The snmp is installed on a Fibre-channel switch.

Aha - that's the problem then.
The initialisation code assumes that this file looks something like:

processor       : 0
vendor_id       : GenuineIntel
cpu family      : 15
model           : 4
model name      : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
   <etc, etc>

So it's looking for a line of the form

     processor   :   N

to create the entry with index 'N'

"processor       : PVID: 0x80811014, vendor: Motorola"
will be confusing it something rotten!


What hardware are you running this on?
