First thing - is it the agent or "snmpset" that's objecting to this? Try adding the -Ir flag to disable snmpset validation checks. If the agent still complains, try running both the "snmpset" and "snmpwalk" commands with either '-d' or '-Ddump', and compare the OID that's being generated. How do the two compare?
