How to get snmptrapd to work?

Using net-snmp 5.4, I can't get snmptrapd to receive and display ANY traps. Can someone please provide the exact config (for snmptrapd.conf) to allow ALL traps to be received. From the man pages, I'm using: com2sec public default public group public v1 public group public v2c public group public usm public view all included .1 access public "" any noauth exact all none none Doesn't work. ./snmptrapd -f -d -Lo shows dumps of received traps, but there is no other output from snmptrapd.
