Hi all, I have a problem performing "snmpwalk" on a table that's indexed by IP. I'm using net-snmp 5.0.9, and while I understand (?) that the agent treats the table as a non-simple table, (and thus does not expect the table to be ordered and traverses throughout the table to find the "next" index), I get the following wierd output: [admin@server ]$ snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.<table OID> SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.<Table OID>.1.2.192.168.197.100.0 = STRING: "dd" SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.<table OID>.1.2.192.168.197.101.0 = STRING: "cc" SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.<Table OID.1.2.192.168.149.130.0 = STRING: "ff" *Error: OID not increasing: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.<Table OID> .1.2.192.168.197.101.0 >= SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.<Table OID>.1.2.192.168.149.130.0* What can I do? Is this net-snmp version related? (should I upgrade?) Is this the expected behaviour when IPs are indices?
