Couldn't open a master agentx socket to listen on()

Hi, I am trying to run snmpd as AgentX. Once I add the line " master agentx" into the snmpd.conf and run snmpd in debug mode I get this error : Couldn't open a master agentx socket to listen on(): I appreciate if anybody can help me on this.
