I'm looking for where it tries to install the snmpconf files.

That's the bit.
Which certainly *looks* as if it's installing the snmpconf files.

However, your earlier message talked about "/export/opt/share/....."
rather than "/export/opt/net-snmp/share...."
       That's probably where the problem arises.
