I want to develop a system that will use NET-SNMP but I have some doubts: 1) How could I know is there is an agent in a network node? 2) NET-SNMP allows me to remotely install an agent in a node? 3) How can I know the names of the objects to be managed. Is there any request transaction? 4) What can I do in order to process the results of the commands (GETSNMP,etc.) by a Java code. NET-SNMP records a file? 5) Would you tell me where can I find the answer to my especific questions?
