Try the following flag:

    $ man snmpd.conf
        :
   monitor [OPTIONS] NAME EXPRESSION
   OPTIONS
         -S     indicates  that  the monitor expression should not be
evaluated when the
                     agent first starts up.  The first evaluation will
be done once the first
                     repeat interval has expired.
