sysDescr.0: Unknown Object Identifier (Sub-id not found: (top) -> sysDescr)

Hi,
   
  I am getting error while executing following command,
   
  Command : snmpget -v 2c localhost -c public sysDescr.0
   
  Error: sysDescr.0: Unknown Object Identifier (Sub-id not found: (top) -> sysDescr)
   
  Why I an getting such error? Please help
