Hi, I built 5.4.1.pre1 with OpenSSL support and IPv6 enabled using: #define NETSNMP_ENABLE_IPV6 1 (and of course uncommenting the 4 things in the .def file). To test I built the sample app from the tutorials, and have it just doing simple gets on a cisco switch. This new build with 5.4.1.pre1 yields "snmpget: Timeout" while my regular 5.4 w/OpenSSL build works fine. For IPv6 support enabled is there anything else I have to do. I don't actually need IPv6 yet, and am not using it, but we need the support for the future. I assume it's still backwards compatible though correct? Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Anders [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2007 4:12 PM To: Kleffman, Justin (Mission Systems) Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: Rebuilding Net-SNMP 5.4 with IPv6 Kleffman, Justin (Mission Systems) wrote: > Has anyone successfully built with IPv6 using the following? > #define INET6 1 > > I need to know where these unresolved externals are located, and what > I need to link with. Can you retry with 5.4.1.pre1 and #define NETSNMP_ENABLE_IPV6 1 please? +Thomas ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
