Hi, Using the Unix version of Net-SNMP, I can set fields indexed by an index of type SnmpAdminString by enclosing the index in escaped single quotes, like so, for an index of c001 snmpset 47.114.242.28 snmpCommunityName.\'c001\' s newcommunity \ snmpCommunitySecurityName.\'c001\' s readonlycommunity \ snmpCommunityStorageType.\'c001\' i 3 \ snmpCommunityStatus.\'c001\' i 4 If I'm using the PC version of Net-SNMP however, this syntax is rejected by the SNMP agent (it complains about the index)... Can someone tell me what syntax works in this situation for the PC version of Net-SNMP?
