Subject: How to implement a new MIB

Hi all,
I'm trying to implement a new MIB in order to extend SNMP
Agent.
The steps I followed were:
1) Create a New MIB file .txt
according to ASN.1 specifics;
2) Validate New MIB to http://www. simpleweb.org/ietf/mibs/validate/;
3) copy new file in C:
\urs\share\snmp\mibs (windows directory of MIBs).

Now i want to read
it throug smptranslate command or snmpwalk command. But nothing
happens. It seems new MIB hasn't been red. Why?

Can anyone help me?
If
a similar topic exist, can anyone redirect me?

Thank you very much.

Vincenzo
