qustions about net-snmp

Dear Sirs,
We are from an IT company in China and on a pre-investigation on net-snmp.
During this we have some problems and couldn't find the answer anywhere else.
1. Please tell us the description of netsnmp_mib_utilities.
We don't know what the netsnmp_mib_utilities mentioned in the http://www.net-snmp.org/docs/man/ is used to do.
2. We found a conflict between the downloaded src and the api document page http://snmp.sourceforge.net/docs/man/snmp_sess_api.html
we are confused with that.
in the source method snmp_sess_read returns an int type value,but in the document the return type is void.
