how to make agent able to send traps?

HI all,
Thanks to all your suggestion, I've completed the extension of 
net-snmp agent.
Now I want to render it able to send traps.
For 
example, I want that it send me a trap about an integer Managed Object 
everytime it becomes odd or even.
How can i do it?
I'have to modify my .
c files generated by mib2c (with mib2c.scalar.conf), or I have to 
create other source files and header using mib2c.notify.conf?
And in 
the last case, can u suggest me a link or a guide that helps me in 
doing it?
