API for extracting value of OID?

HI all,
I've a question.
Is there any API -agent side-  for direct 
retrieving of OID values?
i.e. I want to compile a shared object that 
implemented in snmpd daemon is able to retrieve OIDs values directly 
(without sending a get instruction).
