It looks like you're running net-snmp 5.0.9 installed in /opt/netsnmp5
on Solaris.

That is an extremely old release and is not even the most recent version
on the 5.0.x line (which is no longer being maintained). We would
strongly suggest that you use something a little less ancient. It's
quite likely that your problem is fixed in the upcoming 5.4.1 release.
Give it a try -- 5.4.1.rc4 is available from the project website.
