subagent problem on target platform

Hello Members, Following is the description of my problem. Step 1. *------ I compiled the net-snmp 5.4 successfully and it is perfectly working fine. I am running the master agent and the subagent and everything seems to be working fine. Step 2. *------ But, when I copied the binary snmpd compiled in Step 1, to some other M/C with same architecture and same Linux distribution it gives me error while starting the master agent (snmpd -A) in /var/log/snmpd.log file. The snmpd.conf file is same in both the cases. *------------------------ Turning on AgentX master support. Error: Couldn't open a master agentx socket to listen on (): *--------------------------------------- Any guess why it could be happening.
