hrDevice table and subagent for hr_print?

Hi, I'm a bit confused if it is possible to use a subagent to support a single row of the hrDevice table or not. What I'm trying to do, is to disable the host/hr_print support in the normal net-snmp master agent, and instead have a subagent that would supply the printer info via agentx. I could modify the hr_print.c code, but I'd rather not if possible.
