snmptrap performance

Good Day!

Thank you very much for your reply on my previous question.

My question now is about the performance of snmptrap.

Test Environment:
   Net-SNMP 5.4.1
   OS: Linux RedHat AS3
   Machine: DellPowerEdge 750, 1GB RAM 

Result of sending of snmptrap: 8-10 traps / second.
  Note: snmpd and snmptrapd are running in the same machine

Question:
1. Do you have any benchmark  test for snmptrap?
    Currently, we need to send at least 20-40 traps/second.
    But Net-SNMP cannot satisfy this requirement based on our current test.

2. Do you have other suggestion on Net-SNMP configurations so as to 
speed up the sending of snmptrap?
