netSnmpIETFWGTable

Hi!

I’m new in the net-snmp stuff and I have some queries about the example
netSnmpIETFWGTable.

I have been successful when building the subagent with the
nstAgentSubagentObject and I succeeded when sending the command 

snmpget –v 2c –c public localhost nstAgentSubagentObject.0. 

 

I used the example-files Makefile, NET-SNMP-TUTORIAL-MIB.txt,
example-demon.c, nstAgentSubagentObject.c and nstAgentSubagentObject.h.

Actually, I’m more interested in the netSnmpIETFWGTable example (array-user)

That’s why I tried to do the same thing with the netSnmpIETFWGTable example
but didn’t succeed.

 

I started like this:

 

export MIBS=ALL

mib2c -c mib2c.array-user.conf netSnmpIETFWGTable
writing to netSnmpIETFWGTable.h
writing to netSnmpIETFWGTable.c
running indent on netSnmpIETFWGTable.c
running indent on netSnmpIETFWGTable.h

I’ve used the Makefile from 3.1.1 and the example-demon.c from 3.1.2 and the
above generated files and the NET-SNMP-EXAMPLES-MIB.txt.

I’ve added the lines,

master agentx

rwcommunity public localhost

to the file snmpd.conf.

I realize that I have to add some data to the file netSnmpIETFWGTable.c but
I’m not sure what to add though (and that’s why I don’t succeed I suppose).

 

My question is, is there any complete examplefile with the array-user so I
can be successful making a snmpget –v 2c –c public localhost
netSnmpIETFWGTable.0 or what do I have to add to the file
netSnmpIETFWGTable.c as a minimum ?

 

The snmpd and the example-demon are started as ROOT like this:

/usr/local/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -p /var/run/snmpd -a –Dagentx

./example-demon &
