AgentX Max Packet Size - BUG???

Hi,

I am developing an AgentX sub-agent using the net-SNMP library.
The sub-agent is working fine but I am unable to send large packets. When I looked at the source code (agentx\protocol.c), I have found out that the agentX has a packet size limit which is determined by BUFSIZ - 512 (BUFSIZ is defined in the standard header file - stdio.h)

Is this a bug? Should the packet size limit be equal to the client send/receive buffer or at least to the SNMP_MAX_MSG_SIZE (defined in snmp_api.h)?

Many thanks,

Albert
