You didn't tell us your configure options, unfortunately.
I guess you've specified a default SNMP version of "2c" which isn't
valid. See:

foo# ./configure --help
[...]
  --with-default-snmp-version=\"3\" Default version of SNMP to use.
                                    (Default: 3)
                                    Legal values: 1, 2 (for SNMPv2c) or 3.
