How to find out, whether a getnext from a walk is the first request?

Hi,
when I register a table with the table handler function netsnmp_register_table_data_set( ..., myTable_handler(), ...) and in the table handler function I do something like for (request=requests; request; request=request->next) {...} is there a chance to find out, if this is the first request in a walk bulk?
Thanks for support.
Torben
