If you've installed the software as an RPM package (e.g. as part
of setting up the system in the first place), then you can remove it using

   rpm -e net-snmp-utils
   rpm -e net-snmp
   rpm -e net-snmp-libs

(or something similar).

If you've installed it from source, then try running "make uninstall".
This isn't perfect by any means - but it should get rid of most stuff.
