The much more alarming fact is that he's using ucd-snmp 4.2.3 (WHOOP!).
That must either be an obsolete private deb package or a fully
out-of-date Debian testing snapshot from years ago. We won't/can't help
with any of those. What's the output of "dpkg -s snmpd", "uname -a" and
"cat /etc/debian_version"?
