RE: Compile error using SNMP 5.3.1

Try a "make clean" or "make distclean" or a fresh install.

Hi,

 

I received the following compile error during 'make'. Additional info as
follows:

 

OS: RH ES 4.0

64-bit kernel

/usr/lib/libpopt.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format

Note: I also tried removing the links to libpopt.so.0.0.0 and renaming
same to libpopt.so, but error still occurred. Appreciate any additional
information - not sure what file in wrong format indicates. Thanks.
