What do you mean by "stock ... MIBs"?

The standard MIB object for monitoring would be
    EtherLike-MIB::dot3StatsDuplexStatus
(as Gabrielle has indicated)

Remember that talking about "duplex setting" doesn't necessarily make
sense for many types of network.   It's most relevant to TP-based ethernet,
hence defining this object in the Etherlike-MIB.


And to forestall your next question - no, the Net-SNMP agent does not
currently implement the Etherlike-MIB.
   If anyone wishes to take a stab at this, then feel free!
