Hi Dave ,
Thank you very much for your reply. Actually , I solved the problem. It was
because of duplicate ip 
Addresses on two different interfaces. Once I changed one of them the
problem disappeared. Dave, I see 
Lot of people facing the same issue , I feel it would be good if we list the
above observed behavior in some kind 
Of faq or some notes where people can easily refer to it. 

Anyways thanks for the help.

There's a patch for this problem on the project website.

That one is probably not related to the first subtree_load problem.

Can you please try running the agent with the debug flag '-DipAddressTable'
What does that display?
