Dear Sir or Madam:
Can table index be String, such as: “aaa”? I define my own index like this:
devEntry OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX devEntry
MAX-ACCESS not-accessible
STATUS current
INDEX { devSn }
::= { devTable 1}
devEntry ::= SEQUENCE {
devSn OCTET STRING,
devName OCTET STRING ,
status INTEGER(0..10),
swVersion OCTET STRING
}
But when I send a message: get Cv 2c Cc public localhost devName.a , it says: Index out of range!
I will wait your answers, thanks!
A SNMP developer
Best wishes,
