Clarifying Net-snmp ver 5.1.3.1 and SNMPv2

Sorry, I should have given more info.  The monitoring server is running
net-snmp ver 5.3.0.1 and janus1 is the one running 5.1.3.1.

Does Net-SNMP 5.1.3.1 support SNMPv2?  If so, does it need to be started
some special way to make it recognize v2?

 

I am running:

 

snmpwalk -v2c -c public janus1.coalliance.org ifHighSpeed

 

from my monitoring server.  But I get:

 

IF-MIB::ifHighSpeed = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

 

back from janus1.
