upgrading from 5.2.3 to 5.2.4

Hi all,
 
I recently upgraded from net-snmp-5.2.3 to net-snmp-5.2.4.  Everything
seems to be OK so far except for the following:
 
My users defined in /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf were erased when I ran the
agent.  The user declarations in the /user/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf
file are still there.
I then tried to create a new users using the command line tool:
 
net-snmp-config --create-snmpv3-user -A SHA -a shapassword -X AES -x
aespassword SHAAESUser
 
This command succeeds but when I start the agent using snmpd -Le -f    I
get the following errors
 
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf: Line 71  Warning: Unknown token: group
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf: Line 81  Warning: Unknown token: view
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf: Line 91  Warning: Unknown token:
access
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf: Line 105 Warning: Unknown token:
rwuser
 
and the createUser line in the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf file is gone.
 
I have reviewed the readme files and looked through the email threads
and bug lists and found that if a module is not included in the
configure/compile then this can occur.
But the readme also states that the usm module is ALWAYS compiled in so
I am at a loss to why I am seeing these errors.
 
Is there something to be configured for the view based control as well?
(this should explain the first 3 errors).
 
I ran the same configure scripts for both versions of the agent.
 
Any help is appreciated.
