Hello,

I have a simple subagent which sends a trap through the agent and out to
the manager. However, on the manager side, using "MIB smithy" I'm not
seeing the trap via. "Trapwatch" tool. However, I know that the mib
Smithy tool and the agent (snmpd) on the host are talking because I see
the "cold start" messages appear in trapwatch when I shut down the agent
on the host.

THEREFORE, my problem is somewhere in my code, or perhaps in my MIB but
I just need a way to debug it.

Is there a way to trace what happens within the agent when my subagent
sends the trap through it?

Also, is there a way to dump the raw IP packet that might go out through
the agent to the manager upon a trap?

Thanks again for your response,
R
