No.  The mechanisms used for retrieving data are hard-coded into the
agent binary.  It's not possible to change this code via snmpd.conf directives.

Note that the agent will typically be using C-level API calls.   Executing a
subprocess (e.g. "df") is very much a last resort.   Normally we'd use the
equivalent code instead.
