Hi Dave and thanks for all your responses,

I din't know that this access control list can be done in
/usr/local/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf.
Is net-snmp default configuration always using this path for its
configuration?

I think I have all info i needed so far, thank you all for your responses
and help.

We will try to implement this and see if it works on our system.

Regards,
/Masoud

What exactly are you asking here?

The Access Control configuration is usually done via the snmpd.conf file.

See the FAQ entry

How do I configure access control?

        http://www.net-snmp.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ:Agent_23

(and the one that follows).

I'm a bit confused why you're asking for example _code_.

Surely you don't intend to duplicate all the existing VACM processing?

Dave
