Thank you for the note. I gave it another try and checked dmalloc version 
5.4.2 and it did at indeed compile.

But it doesn't seem to work correctly, I can only run snmpd with "dmalloc 
run", when I set "dmalloc low" snmpd segfaults just after being started 
and anything higher leaves snmpd stuck. It doesn't even listen to a 
SIGINT, only SIGQUIT shuts it down. But I'll keep trying...
