Compiling 5.4.1 on AIX 6.1

Has anyone been successful at compiling net-snmp on AIX 6.1?  Here is
some information and my errors:

 

# oslevel -s

6100-00-02-0750

 

# uname -a

AIX boxname 1 6 0003338AD300

 

# gcc -v

Using built-in specs.

Target: powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0

Configured with: ../configure --with-as=/usr/bin/as
--with-ld=/usr/bin/ld --disable-nls --enable-languages=c,c++
--prefix=/opt/freeware --enable-threads
--enable-version-specific-runtime-libs --host=powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0

Thread model: aix

gcc version 4.0.0

 

Configure line:

--without-kmem-usage
