net-snmp and 64 bit counters under FreeBSD

Hi All,

I am having trouble with this.

Firstly I believe that the version of net-snmp that ships standard with
freebsd is 5.3 and does not support 64 bit ifcounters.

I downloaded v5.4 which supposedly has experimental support for it under
freebsd?!?

I used:

./configure --enable-mfd-rewrites --with-mib-modules=if-mib
--with-gnu-ld --with-libwrap --with-libs="-lkvm-ldevstat"
--with-persistent-directory=/var/net-snmp

To build under FreeBSD 7/i386

These are the results:
---------------------------

[root@ns /home/alex/serverbuild/net-snmp-5.4.1]# snmpd --version

NET-SNMP version: 5.4.1
Web: http://www.net-snmp.org/
Email: [email protected]

[root@ns /home/alex/serverbuild/net-snmp-5.4.1]# snmpwalk --version
NET-SNMP version: 5.4.1
[root@ns /home/alex/serverbuild/net-snmp-5.4.1]# snmpwalk -v 2c -c
community 127.0.0.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1
IF-MIB::ifXEntry = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

Whats the go?
