Hi Dave,

We have  Installed Net-SNMP 5.4.1. After  running snmpget command i got 
below error. This seems to be we need to Install IPV6 patch in our 
machine.

usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libipv6.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory

If we install IPV6 patch , it will effect  the projects which was written 
on the basis of IPV4. 

Could you please let us know  do we need IPV6 patches  eventhough after 
disabling  IPV6  while configuring (as below)

/configure 
        --disable-debugging  --with-defaults \
        --disable-embedded-perl \
        --with-openssl=/opt/openssl --disable-ipv6   \
        --with-transports="UDP UDPIPv6 TCPIPv6" 
--enable-ucd-snmp-compatibility \                    // 
'--with-transports=UDP' is it sufficient Right here ??
        --with-libs="-lnm -lipv6" --disable-shared

No - use "--disable-mibs" but not the other two.
These are concerned with *parsing* the MIB files
(i.e. understanding MIB object names).

They are not related to the choice MIB modules implemented
within the agent.

If you configure using "--disable-agent", that should be enough for
your requirements.
