Thanks a lot for your help.  I've included a copy of my pass_persist
script.  It's build up on other existing custom perl modules that I've
included in the lib directory.  You mays have to change the use lib "" in
the begining of NSextend.pl and procmon.pl in the selfmon/bin directory to
reflect where the perl modules are living.  I also included the
configuration file in selfmon/conf/selfmonitor.conf.  You may also have to
change the procmon command used in that config file according to where you
install the scripts so that NSExtend.pl can launch procmon.pl

I also included a copy of the last lines of my snmpd.conf file so that you
can see how I use the pass_persist directive.  File path will need to be
changed to though.

This is development-grede code but I tried to comment it as much as possible.
