I'll repeat my regular plea here.
If anyone has had success in getting the Net-SNMP suite (particularly the
agent) to work on embedded systems, could you please let us have the
details of exactly what sort of configure/compilation settings are required,
together with any other problems you came across, incantations or
ritual dances you needed to perform, etc...

This sort of question comes up fairly frequently, but none of the core
development team have much experience with embedded systems.
All we can really report is that
    "apparently it's possible, but we don't know how"
             (which isn't very satisfactory for anyone!)

It would be extremely useful if we could put together some form of
documentation for getting things working on embedded systems.
(Either Net-SNMP hosted docs or links to other information - it
doesn't really matter.   But *something* would be nice!)
